Public Notice - September 28th, 2008

We find ourselves at a disadvantage in trying to diseminate information. The Village can spend our money on threatening letters, cover up and excuse letters, signs, et al. but we citizens must pay for any of this out of our own pockets. It also seem like a lot the media will publish what they say without regard to accuracy. I have asked for a retraction from one newspaper already and didn't receive a response as of today. I intend to notify them all. In the mean time I am posting the following flyer on the five designated public posting areas which according to information published by the village are designated for posting. These locations are Lobby of:

1. Amelia Municipal Building
2. Lobby of Amelia Post Office
3. Lobby of Ameelia Branch Library
4. Lobby of Chase Bank
5. Lobby of Key Bank

The following is the text of the notice I posted:

AMELIA INCOME TAX INFORMATION

Information concerning the proposed income tax, the recent letters sent by Ellington and Menz, the petition to dissolve the Village of Amelia and more can be found on the following web sites:

dissolveamelia.org

saveamelia.org

If you do not have a computer give me a call and I will try my best to explain to you what I believe is happening, and how we must remedy the situation. I can also register you to vote and take you signature to get our solution on the ballot so that we residents can vote on this issue. I am also available to visit anyone to discuss this issue so if you want I will come to your house and talk to you about it. If you have a group of neighbors who are interested plan a get together, the more the better.
